Troop 318 By-Laws (DRAFT)

The goal of the troop 318 committee is to focus on developing youth to be model citizens in the communities in which they are involved.  We shall promote the Scout Oath, Law, Moto, and Culture.

This is a Boy lead troop and as a committee, we should within reason, promote what the boys wish to accomplish.

Each member of Troop 318 shall sign and understand the troop discipline policy.  The troop discipline policy is handled by a subcommittee of troop 318 adults and leaders.  Any youth protection violation will be handled by the Scoutmaster, Committee chair, and Charter Organization Representative.

We shall always promote each boy paying there way through there scouting career.  We as a committee shall facilitate an ample number of fundraising opportunities so that a boy can obtain this goal.

Every person with a troop 318 account shall keep the balance in a positive direction.  If the account is negative the opportunity to register for the next Troop event could be jeopardized.

Summer camp leadership-  We shall determine the appropriate number of adults to scouts needed to provide sufficient leadership at scout camp.  We will provide $500 to be split among this number to pay for entrance into the summer camp of choice.  If more people want to attend summer camp their way will be funded from their account.  If adults wish to have their way paid to summer camp, above the approved ratio then this amount shall be split among the boys attending camp.
